In the heart of Belvedere Bellagio, with expansive views onto Lake Como, Albòri preserves and platforms everything we hold dear.

You set the pace, able to dine à la carte or with our three tasting menus, including Breva, our vegetarian experience.

These menus are the result of our passion, but the people are the reason: the producers, growers, and everyone on both sides of the pass. Without their particular brand of devotion, maybe even madness, none of Albòri would be possible.

This is why your participation is encouraged and embraced. Talk with us. Ask your sommelier about a particular vine or catch Chef Marco for a word on the current harvest. We want you to see their eyes light up when they speak of an ingredient or memory or inspiration that made tonight possible.

Chef de Cuisine

Chef Marco shares our taste for Italian cuisine. Tradition grounds his cooking and pleasure drives it. He has the confidence to preserve what matters and the character to play with the rest.

Marco gifted us the name Albòri. It’s a subtle variation of ‘arbori’ which, in his native Sardinian dialect, is the moment just before dawn when daylight emerges from the horizon. A quiet revolution is taking place. This is what Albòri embodies: on one side Marco’s Sardinian origins, on the other a journey of awakening.

We have forged strong partnerships with local, independent farmers and artisans. These collaborations form the foundation of the restaurant's ingredient sourcing, ensuring freshness and quality while showcasing regional communities.

Place

We work with lesser-known and humble ingredients to craft something new yet deeply rooted, adopting playful combinations of ingredients, and recipes that embrace color and texture, to tell the story of our territories.

Evolution

One of the greatest challenges in cooking is staying true to tradition while pushing boundaries. Modernizing old recipes is not enough. We have to have a deep understanding of taste, a sense of where a dish comes from and where it can go.

Journey

Our tasting menus are designed to evoke emotions, to stir something deep in the memory. Of course we need the flavors to all work together but, even more, we want to create an experience that guests carry with them long after they’ve left the table.

We don't just select wines for their taste, we seek out the hands that crafted them. Wine carries the soul of its maker, which is why we showcase those who work as naturally as possible. You can taste the land, the climate, and the craftsmanship in a way that’s more honest and more beautiful.
