A panoramic trek of Sentiero del Viandante
Walk through traditional villages, ancient architecture, and Orrido di Bellano.
Sentiero del Viandante is an ancient route that goes along the eastern shore of Lake Como. The third stage of the route goes from Varenna to Dervio, with a trek along it taking you scenically off the beaten path.
This 12-kilometer trek is easier than other stages of the route, and very scenic. It can take around four hours to complete but you can split the trek in two: go from Varenna to Bellano, or from Bellano to Dervio.
